Copthorne Orchid Hotel Penang vs Kompleks Tabung Haji
Sorry guys... Few people have ask me why my blog is not updated. I don't know how to answer that question. Maybe that's why the tagline above is "tHis is noT aUtomatiCalLy UpdaTed". That is the few words explain what this blog is about, not automatically updated.
I think it's good if there are tools that can translate what we are thinking into words on the screen automatically. Of course there were some tools right now that can translate the things in our head and the tools are this hands with the fingers, this keyboard, eyes monitor, mouse and so on. But then, these tools are not running automatically.
owh. what i'm talking about...
The story is, my family is coming to Penang last year. Actually, it's few weeks ago, during Awal Muharram. They stay here for two nights. The first night, my family and I overnight at Copthorne Orchid Hotel. This hotel located directly on the ocean front and conveniently situated at Tanjung Bunga. My say is, this is an old hotel. Their bed, furniture and other equipment were old. However, the kids still enjoy the swimming pool. My sis and her hubby spent their time, enjoy watching the final soccer SEA Games trough big screen TV at their coffee house and walking along the beach. Means we still enjoying their facilities and environment.
Second night, they supposedly over night at my house, but because of my house is a cute one, my wife and I decided to get some additional room at Kompleks Tabung Haji, Bayan Lepas which is nearby with my house to accommodate them. The rooms at Kompleks Tabung Haji is very nice. We manage to get 3 rooms which is one of that is a Suite. The rooms were newly furnished but not big except for the suite. The suite size is as big as my cute home and guess what, the price is as low as RM160 per night. I'm very happy with the rate, suitable for you if you are coming to Penang with family members like say for wedding ceremony and so on. It's end up only my mother, my brother and my younger sister overnight at my house.
Owh, time's up. For any further info, fell free to visit their website at http://www.millenniumhotels.com/my/copthornepenang/index.html and http://www.tabunghaji.gov.my/th/TH/KompleksBayanLepas.htm.
For the ending, I wish you all a Happy New Year (even though the 1st Jan 2010 is on last 7 days) and may this year become a great one for all of us. Daaaa...
Tahniah Malaysia
Separuh masa kedua, rentak permainan Laos berubah.
019 Is Now Maxis
My cousin just realized and tell me this story yesterday....
Last week, he went to Mid Valley Megamall by Komuter. While walking heading to Mid Valley from the Komuter station, he has been approached by some guys from telcos' booth, the booth that promoting to the crowded to register new line with them or promoting their prepaid and products. This guy hold my cousins' hand, offer him to sit and begin to ask for his IC.
"What for?" my cousin ask. That guy said "It's nothing, just we have a promotion for you. Now we offer new SIM card, I will fill up the form for you and you will get a new SIM card. It's nothing..." Then, this young man give his IC and this guy fill up the form and return his IC with a new SIM card.
Yesterday, my cousin realized that his telco provider was changed. Before this, he use Celcom Prepaid, but know he subscribed to Maxis Postpaid.
I ask him either he signed or not the form that the promoter fill for him last week? He said "Yes". "Did you read what form it is?" He said "No". I said to him "Then it's also your fault because you signed that form without knowing what is the form all about". I think it's the form to change the telco provider without changing our phone number.
Yes, the promoter is wrong because he doesn't explain to the customer what he is going to do and what he is actually offer, but it is our responsibility to be more careful dealing with them, especially if you need to sign anything.
So guys, careful and be alert...
